Splatoon 3 says it’s doing a challenge mode with clam blitz matches where you can only use brushes or rollers right now but it’s lying. the real challenge is seeing if you can solo a pro team who are obviously coordinating on discord voice chat by teaming you with three randos who have literally never left turf war and whose playstyles are the Splatoon equivalent of a herd of lemmings sprinting full tilt into a woodchipper

I think curling bomb would see way more play if the charge indicator visualized how far it was going to travel, just like you can see the arc of thrown bombs. Half charges are its superpower, but people only use it uncharged for mobility or fully charged for niche ledge kills.
